Vintage table ‘Loto’ by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova, designed in december 1964. Table has a polished marble base with rounded edges, a central stand made of blackened metal, and  a circular marble top. The first edition is in an Italian marble called Bianco Lasa Classico: a white, pure, hard and robust resembling the marble used in neoclassical architecture in Austria and Germany. It is reissued in other types of marble and granite. 

Ettore Sottsass, an influential Italian architect and designer, was a leading figure in the Memphis Group, a design movement that emerged in the 1980s. Known for his avant-garde approach, Sottsass infused his creations with bold colors, unconventional shapes, and a rebellious spirit, challenging the norms of traditional design. His diverse body of work includes iconic designs such as the Olivetti Valentine typewriter and the 'Loto Rosso' table, showcasing his enduring impact on contemporary design.
