Lowboard Sideboard 'Fresco' by Victor Bramwell for G-Plan
Lowboard designed by Victor Bramwell, produced by G-Plan in England in the 1960s. The sideboard is made of teak and afrormosia. Elegant design with beautifully crafted curved handles. A quality piece with ample storage capacity. The teak imparts a warm color to the furniture.
Little is known about the designer. What we do know is that he designed extensively in-house for the British manufacturer G-Plan for many years. G-Plan is known for its post-war modernist furniture. To compete with Scandinavian furniture, they enlisted Danish designer Kofod-Larsen. These influences can also be seen in Bramwell's Fresco series.
The cabinet has a label on the back.
